ウクライナで正式に法律として全てのポルノが禁止されたそうで、この法案は６月１１日に議会を通過しそして最終的にビクトル・ユシチェンコ大統領が法案にサインをして法律が制定されたそうです。
ウクライナの人権活動家や芸術的なコミュニティーのメンバーなどが大統領に法案にサインしないように頼んだそうですが、結局法律が出来てしまったそうです。
ただし「医学に使用する目的」の場合だけに限って写真などの所持が認められているそうで、尚ウクライナの法務省は大量の画像の所有は、ポルノ取引の証拠として考えられる場合があるので注意するように警告を出しているそうです。
ポルノ所有の罰則は最高で禁固３年と罰金刑だそうです。
